Nature

Nature websites to help you learn and grow: Note that this is bird focused as that is what my second book is about.

https://www.fws.gov/ US Fish and wildlife services has great information about national wildlife
refuges,endangered species, climate change etc

https://www.audubon.org/ everything you want to learn about birds and conservation. Absolutely
stunning photography. Each state also has one or several audubon centers that you can visit.

https://ebird.org/home created and maintained by Cornell university, again information about any bird
and best of all see birding hotspots on a map. Input your own birding observations as well as any
images you take along with millions of other citizen scientists. This keeps track of all the bird species
you have seen and the location.

My youtube channel has short clips on birds and travel, will continue to add.  Please follow.

Travel

Popular Books

Sibley's guide to birds is a name that always comes up if you want something to take with you in the field,  or to read at home.  However with the above websites and apps with real images there are many options now and with stunning photography as opposed to drawings. Certainly there are also many other books.

Apps I recommend are Merlin Bird ID to identify birds and iNaturalist for plant identification

There are also many facebook and Instagram accounts with bird, wildlife, and landscape themes.

My instgram and facebook accounts are traveltales100.
